Ladbrokes Casino will be coming out of US online gaming on Friday, so given this news the team at Ladbrokes Poker have been busy working behind the scenes to come up with new innovative promotions to try and push their brand more in the European marketplace.

This of course has got to be good news for existing and new members joining Ladbrokes Casino, as it should give them even more to play for.

If you had not heard already, The US government cracked down on a number of Poker rooms that have been accepting players from the US on Friday 15th April 2011, and this was despite the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (U.I.G.E.A) 2006.

As a result of their action, the FBI has seized the domain names of some of the biggest Poker rooms in our industry and their owners have been indicted for bank fraud, illegal gambling offences and money laundering. Not a pretty picture that’s for sure.

This of course has left a lot of online gaming companies like Ladbrokes reeling, so it is no wonder that many of them are now opting out of US gaming altogether.

So what have Ladbrokes got lined up? Well for a start their popular Easter poker festival is back this year and it comes loaded with a £750k prize pool. This is a four day online poker event which will begin on 22nd April and we have been informed that this will be the biggest and best poker tourney running online this coming bank holiday weekend.

During this time there will be 9 different poker tournaments taking place, which should cater for all poker playing tastes. These are set to include, Omaha 2nd Chance and 5 Card Draw with Turbo’s and Survivor, so lots going on that’s for sure.
